These jeans look very nice and the fabric is a very comfortable and smooth medium weight — lighter than old school jeans but heavier than the likes of chinos. I’ve washed them once and they came out of the wash looking great. The only reason I went with four stars rather than five is that the waist is large for me, and I got these in the exact same 30/27 size as a couple of pairs of Ash & Erie flannel lined chinos which I wear a lot in the winter. The jeans fit otherwise, but the waist is 1-2 inches big so they don’t have the “perfect size and cut” that I have with the chinos. I chose to keep them as they’ll work with a belt. At 65 I still have an athletic build and these are just a bit straighter than ideal for me.

After returning the replacement was perfect. The weekend jeans fit just a little different than the original jeans I purchased several years ago, or was it me that changed? Regardless I am pleased with the look and fit.
